May is my birthday month… of course it’s the best month to have a birthday, in my not-so-humble opinion. Everything is coming to life, hope is in the air!
As giving gifts is one of my favorite things, I have a special surprise for you. As a member of Piper’s Merry Band, I’m going to give you something really cool. It’s my birthday gift to you.
First let me say that crayons are one of the world’s greatest inventions, and that none of us are ever too old to enjoy them. Taking a coloring break, or keeping a doodle pad handy, is not only one of the best stress-busters I know, it also activates the right hemisphere of your brain, making for a whole new rush of ideas and insights. It’s a prefect thing to do to break out of writer’s block.
Now we’ve gotten clear of the benefits of coloring at all ages, I can take you back to my gift for you: fresh off the press: The Piper Pan Coloring Book! Five illustrations for your coloring enjoyment, whether inside or outside of the lines!
You can use it yourself, download it and gift it along with my book to another, or use it to entertain the young ones in your life. When your friends want one, tell them they can get theirs free as well as soon as they opt-in (sign up for this weekly e-mail).
And if you fall in love with these characters and want them in their full glory, remember the character cards can be purchased on my site here.
By the way, I had the fun of being interviewed at my local radio station this last week. I’ve got the recording and have it posted in my “press room.” If you missed it and would like to listen, here it is!
Regarding the weekly audios I’ve been releasing, we’re nearing the end of the book. Today’s is Chapter 20. Only two more chapters and “it’s a wrap!” Click here to download and enjoy this week’s audio.
