Plans for the book launch party are coming along. Remember, it’s Saturday March 21, 4-6pm in the room above Nourish Sequim Restaurant in Sequim, WA. I continue to be delighted and amazed by people who are making a special effort to carve out the time in their busy lives to come help celebrate.

I firmed up what gluten-free refreshments will be available for sale. We’ll have cheese breadsticks to go with your grog (wine or hard cider), coffee with your fairycakes (chocolate glazed mini-muffins), and pirate punch! Yo, ho, ho, it’s a pirate’s life!

Excited about the music: Kate and Ethan Powers are an unbelievably talented young duo who’ll weave their fiddle and guitar magic until you can’t stand still. Marjorie Newberg is an exquisite face painter, (she’s pregnant, making a special effort to come do this party and has permission to leave early if she must.) So for your face painting art, come early!

It’s going to be a very fun couple of hours. If you need incentive to come ahead from wherever you live, far away, let me tell you it’s Spring here, unlike on the east coast and in the Midwest. We’ve got daffodils blooming, plum blossoms filling the town with their “pinkly” essence, and my red currant bushes are making the hungry hummingbirds happy!
