These are three of the awesome photos taken by Jan Kepley of Natural Light Photography at our book cover photo shoot this week.
My Piper Pan model is Alexi Rampp-Taft. The black eye is my doing, with the aid of the “bruise” palette from Seattle Costume and Design. (What a great place that is!) We are now working on a handful of possibilities for book cover configurations. It’s hard to see how arresting Lexi’s face is in the all-black photo, but she shows all the tough vulnerability of Piper herself. Thank you, Lexi!
So, you see, progress is being made toward publication!
In the meantime, I hope you’ve read the sample chapters you downloaded. Feeling creative? Enter my contest to win a free autographed copy by submitting your vision of one of the characters to us: support@thecurseoftheneverland.com. It can be a drawing, a painting, a collage, a photo of you or someone else in costume. however you want to create your vision. Then take a photo of it and e-mail it in. Be sure to include your name in the e-mail. For each submission, I will post it on my Pinterest character boards, plus put your name in the hat for the free book drawing.
Until next time, keep believing in yourself and going for your dreams!
