There’s another bonus for pre-ordering! Thanks to my ever-so-talented coach Marjorie Schoelles, author of Mermaid Sand, and to my illustrator Aisha Zaleha Latip, I am going to be selling collectible character cards to add to your enjoyment of the book. As someone with the foresight to pre-order, you will receive a set of character cards for free!
Also, having signed up for my book mailing list, you’ll be receiving a monthly digital character poster between now and publication time. They will be formatted to print out on 81/2 x 11 paper, perfect to put up anywhere you like. The first one will be coming out in early November. You’re in for a treat!
These posters will be built from illustrations, like the following ones of Piper, Belle, and Captain Li’l Jack — but they also include book excerpts. I’ve seem them and they have me doing a happy dance!
